Most gifts are chosen in a hurry. A milestone birthday and a baby shower are the exceptions: people remember what was brought, and so does the person who opens it.
Both occasions ask for the same thing, which is something considered that doesn't add to the clutter. Chocolate suits them well. It is shared, it is finished, and it leaves behind a good box.
The birthday that means something. For a fortieth, a fiftieth, or any birthday that people mark with a dinner, the nine-piece Birthday box is a quiet, proper gift for one person. When the room is larger, or the occasion has more weight, the sixteen-piece Signature box is the one to bring, and the thirty-two-piece Grand Celebration box is for the table everyone gathers around.
The baby shower. A shower has two gifts to think about: the one for the parents, and the favors for the guests. For the parents, our limited-edition Tiffany Blue box of twelve has a fine embossed finish and a gold-foil logo, and it looks like a gift before it is opened. For guests, the four-piece box comes in packs of 5 to 100, small enough to set at each place.
A card makes either one feel finished. You can add our handmade greeting card at checkout, and a gift bag and tissue for local pickup or delivery.
Everything we make is made fresh to order, in small batches, here in Hoboken, crafted from premium Belgian couverture and painted by hand.
